Fraz was raised in a Muslim household near Montreal, Quebec, where his early years were filled with family gatherings and mosque visits. While in high school, he relocated to Hamilton, Ontario, and was invited to a church service where he embraced Christ as his Saviour.
He will be sharing his testimony on Saturday evening at the campfire service.
Fraz will be here at camp with his wife, Kathryn, and their four children — Evelyn, Judah, Faith, and Hope.
The Mirzas’ 17-year-long ministry journey has been diverse, including leading two congregations. Fraz is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Masters College and Seminary, and a Master’s degree from McMaster Divinity College with a focus on missional evangelism and systems-minded leadership.
Now serving as an itinerant minister and evangelist, Fraz travels to equip and encourage churches in three key areas: sharing his testimony to encourage them to do the same in their communities, encouraging churches to stay mission-focused, and reminding churches of the importance and power of God’s presence.
In his personal life, Fraz is a Financial Planner specializing in retirement and investment plans. Fraz uses his education and experience in this area to teach on the blessings of financial faithfulness. Fraz’s vocation provides numerous speaking engagements in non-Christian settings where he can share his faith alongside practical financial wisdom.
Fraz is also heavily involved in local ministries serving both at his home church and through various Christian ministries. Currently, Fraz sits on the Board of Agora Network Ministries, a ministry dedicated to supporting the church in addressing the mental health crisis in Canada.
When Fraz is not travelling and speaking, you can usually find him BBQing for his family or planning their next road trip!
